Polonia Bids Farewell to Edward Moskal

President Polish National Alliance, Polish American Congress

Edward J. Moskal, President of the Polish National Alliance, a fraternal benefit society, and National Polish American Congress, passed away on March 22, 2005.

Mr. Moskal was an active member of the Polish American community his entire life. He was elected President of the Polish National Alliance and the National President of the Polish American Congress in 1988, and served with distinction until his death. During his involvement in Polonia, Mr. Moskal received many honors for his distinguished service. He was also the Grand Marshal of the Pulaski Day Parade in Philadelphia in 1992.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, March 30, at St. John Cantius Church, Chicago. Interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.

The Polish American Congress, Eastern PA District, and the entire Polonia extend condolences to his wife, Wanda, daughter, Pam, grandchildren and family. May he rest in peace.
