Teacher and social worker. Born June 11, 1906 in Chicopee, Mass., daughter of Martin and Mary B. (Gancarz) Olko. Graduated from St. Stanislaus parochial school, Chicopee, 1920; graduate of Chicopee High School, 1926; Bay Path Institute, Springfield, Mass., 1929, Teachers Training Department; American International College, Springfield, Mass., with B.S. degree in 1940. Special courses in social work and in Polish at the Alliance College, Cambridge Springs, Pa., in 1940; Commercial teacher at the Chicopee High School, Chicopee, Mass. Corresponding Citizen's Club of Massachusetts for past eight years. Organized Polish Women's Political Club in Chicopee; Polish Junior League of Massachusetts (its charter member).
