Orlikowski, Walter John
Merchant and civic leader. Born June 21, 1886 in Chicago, Ill; son of Louis and Constance (Mulzoff) Orlikowski. Education: primary and secondary schools in Chicago. Married Eleanor Helen Sullivan, Nov. 11, 1929. Member of many professional, social, fraternal and civic organizations. Elected alderman of 39th ward, now 35th, on April 6, 1931; re-elected in 1933, 1935, 1937 and 1939. In 1940 elected congressman at large in the primaries from Illinois on the Democratic ticket.
