The Polish flag (also known as the "Bialo-czerwona" - white-and-red) flies at the corner of 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This corner is known as the "Torun Triangle" and is also home to the Kopernik Monument. Sister Cities Park - This portion of Logan Square was dedicated as Sister Cities Plaza in 1976 to mark Philadelphia's entry into the international Sister Cities Program. Florence, Italy, was the first city, Torun was the third after Tel-Aviv, Israel. The park was rebuilt to incorporate the Logan Cafe and the Sister Cities Fountain which has the names of the sister cities engraved in stone. Stainless steel markers on a semicircular stone bench that surrounds the fountain point in the direction of the member cities.

Engraved into the stones of the fountain are the names of the sister cities and some basic statistics - Torun is 4,224 miles or 6,798 kilometers distant from this point.
The fountain is at sidewalk level and completely walk through. It is a favorite with children and their pets during the hot and muggy Philadelphia summer days. The RC Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul is across 18th Street.
This stone tablet was removed when the fountain and cafe were installed. It dates back to 1999.
