New CD by Steve Adamczyk Orchestra

Among the first Chicago artists to record high quality polka music was the late Steve Adamczyk and his Orchestra. His brilliant clarinet filled Antonina Blazonczyk's Pulaski Ballroom to the enjoyment of hundreds of dancers in the late 40s and early 50s. The band had a most successful career and Steve was inducted into the Polka Music Hall of Fame in 1975.

Chicago Polkas has just released a CD with 27 tunes from Adamczyk's first 2 LP albums including: Good Luck Polka, Salt & Pepper Oberek, Checker Polka, Little Mary's Wedding Oberek, Steam Shovel Polka, Big Oak Polka, Dance With Me Oberek, Going to Town Polka, Potato Chip Polka, etc. - all classic recordings and all instrumental.

The CD is available for $14 postpaid from the PMA Gift Shop, 984 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622. You won't want to miss this one!
