Attorney at law, civic leader. Born Nov. 20 1906, Chicago, Ill. son of Max and Mary (Wejnerowski) Adamowski. Graduated from Lane Technical High School; DePaul University, Law School, Chicago, Ill. Admitted to the bar in 1922. In 1931 elected assemblyman from 28th district in Chicago. Ill, re-elected in 1933, 1935, 1937, 1939. In 1937 became a Democratic majority floor leader of Illinois General Assembly, Springfield, Ill. Member of the City, Illinois and American Bar Associations. In 1940 unsuccessful candidate for U. S. Senate from Chicago.
