Adamowski, Benjamin S.
Attorney at law, civic leader. Born Nov. 20 1906, Chicago, Ill. son of Max and Mary (Wejnerowski) Adamowski. Graduated from Lane Technical High School; DePaul University, Law School, Chicago, Ill. Admitted to the bar in 1922. In 1931 elected assemblyman from 28th district in Chicago. Ill, re-elected in 1933, 1935, 1937, 1939. In 1937 became a Democratic majority floor leader of Illinois General Assembly, Springfield, Ill. Member of the City, Illinois and American Bar Associations. In 1940 unsuccessful candidate for U. S. Senate from Chicago. Member of Polish Lawyers Association; Chicago Chamber of Commerce; K. of C.; P.N.A.; Sigma Delta Kappa; Address: 135 South La Salle Street, Room: 2800, Chicago, Ill.
