Career: First concert appearance as soloist, at Warsaw, 1883; prof cello and ensamble, Cracow Conservatory, 1885-87; traveled as soloist in Russia and Germany, 1888; joined Boston Symphony Orchestra, 1889; member Adamowski Quartet and Trio; prof. cello, ensemble and quartet classes, New England Conservatory of Music, since 1903.
