Aleksiejczyk (Alek) John J., Jr. (1936 - 2011)
BusinessmanBorn in Philadelphia PA, John was a longtime resident of Deptford and then Woodbury Heights. He was former Owner and operator of Kinsleys Landfill, Inc., United Environmental Services, Inc. and was also employed by AAA Waste Disposal. Passed away on January 5, 2011 at age 75.
A hardworking, strong willed man, John was very generous and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was devoted to those he loved and his idea of a perfect day was to barbecue at his home, play cards with his family and spend time talking Philadelphia sports with his grandsons. He also loved to play backgammon, watch TV, reading and frequenting many of the local Dunkin Donuts and being affectionately called PopPop Donuts.
Beloved father of Eileen C. Connors and John Aleksiejczyk III; loving grandfather of Ryan TJ, Sean Patrick and John J. IV;dear brother of Marie (John) Tepper, Anna "Nancy" (Jack) Houston and Dorothy (the late, Richard) Hunter; devoted partner of 39 years to Robert C. Onley; former husband and friend to Eileen and survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation Saturday, 10 to 10:45 A.M., at Holy Angels Parish at Most Holy Redeemer RC Church, Delsea Dr., Westville Grove, where the Memorial Mass will follow at 11 A.M.
