Paul J. Ancharski, 51, of 526 Washington St., Tamaqua, died Monday at Route 209 between Lehighton and Jim Thorpe in a vehicle accident.

Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret Ancharski.

He was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Tamaqua.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a sister, Susan Ancharski.

Surviving are his wife, the former Beth Ann Kotzmoyer; four stepchildren, Beth Ann Englert, Christine Valentine and Freeman Valentine, all of Tamaqua, and Michelle Valentine, Coaldale; four stepgrandchildren; and sisters, Paulette Kamor, Pittston; Nancy Marko, Hazleton; Tori Ancharski, Danville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Tamaqua.

Burial will be in SkyView Memorial Park, Hometown.

Friends may call at the Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
