Mrs. Ann J. Andrefsky, 87, of Barnesville, died Monday in St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Anthony Andrefsky.
Born in California, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Shupenka) Niznik.
Ann was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a nurse in Europe during World War II.
She was a member of St. Richard's Church, Barnesville, and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and flowers.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and her husband, were sisters, Sophie Niznik and Frances Devinney.
Surviving are daughters, Maryann Andrefsky, Barnesville; and Christine Blasser, Annandale, Va.; a grandson, Peter Blasser, Baltimore, Md.; and a sister, Josephine Funa, Pittsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Richard's Church, Barnesville.
Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown.
