Robert Antkowski (1923 - 2005)
Businessman, WW II veteranAntkowski, Robert, 82, died September 16, 2005. A Florida resident since 1985, Robert came from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was owner of South Side Sausage Co. for 51 years.
A graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Business Administration, he had served in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator, flying B-24's over Europe. His memberships include Assumption Catholic Church, Lauderdale by the Sea, and St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
Preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Jennie, and his sister Irene Antkowski. Survivors include, cousins: Laura (Robert) Walaz, Anthony (Lisa) Antkowski, Ralph (Beatrice) Antkowski, Tadeusz Fiwek, Danuta Kiersztejn, Yolanda Konsionowski, John (Mary) Lewandowski, Melanie (Monte) Breeden, and long time companion and friend, Michael Sunt.
Memorial Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 8, 2005 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where friends will be received from 9:00 am until Mass time. lnterment will be in St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery, Milwaukee. For those who desire, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Robert' s memory.
