Francis J. Anysz (1920 - 1995)
Electrical contractor, social activist

Francis J. Anysz died June 11, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic, NJ at age 75. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Brooklyn and Lodi, NJ before moving to the Greenbriar section of Brick in 1989. He was a self-employed electrical contractor.

Frank was President of the Friends of the Felician College Library in Lodi; and organizer and past president of the Bergen Ampols; member of the Association of the Sons of Poland in Jersey City; member of the Polish American Hi-Hatters; NYC Pulaski Parade Committee; president of the Immaculate Conception H.S. Parents Guild in Lodi; and a member of Local 3, NY Electrical Workers Union.

He is survived by wife Helen (nee Wojtecka); daughters Carol Ann Dunphy, Avon, NJ; Lorelei Francine Pecoraro, Vernon, NJ, sister Faye Dworanczyk, Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren Sean and Alicia Dunphy; Justin and Heather Pecoraro.

Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Elizabeth Church, Avon, NJ.

The Reilly Funeral Home, at 801 D Street, Belmar, N.J. 07719 was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
