Artist-designer. Born in 1907 in Warsaw, Poland, came to U.S. at the age of eleven months. His family settled in Chicago, where he showed an early proclivity for using a pencil, both artistically and literally. Won his newspaper spurs writing for the sports page of the Dziennik Zwiazkowy (Polish Daily) in Chicago, Ill. In 1930 went to New York to become head artist of the Brooklyn branch of the Chicago firm. In 1931 inaugurated his "Czy wiecie ze" drawings and became sports editor of Poland, a magazine, and Czas. Later became sports editor of the Nowy Swiat and has shown keen interest in Polish affairs, serving as President of the Reymont Literary Guild, the Polish American Athletic Club, the Polish American Tennis Club. Secretary General in the General Krzyzanowski Memorial Committee. Married. Conducts his own studio and workshop in New York, located at 3 East 17th Street, employing a staff of eight people.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
