Catherine Azaravich ( - 2008)
Polish activist

Catherine L. (Lesko) Azaravich, of Dupont, PA, passed away January 11, 2008 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, PA.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph, of Dupont; son, Joseph Azaravich (J.R.) and his wife, Carol, of Valrico, Florida; son, Stanley Azaravich, Pittston; son, Frank Azaravich and his wife, ApriI, of Chugiak, Alaska; daughter, Mary Nash and her husband, Merrit, of West Nanticoke; and granddaughter, AIlyson Azaravich, of Valrico, Florida.

She was a member of the Polish National Union of America and a former Branch #74 secretary.

She was a member of the ANS Society and active in the scouting awards programs for many years.

A funeral Mass was held at Holy Mother of Sorrows Church, Dupont. Interment will be in Parish Cemetery, Dupont. Viewing was private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St. Duryea, PA.
