As provincial he lived at St. Mary's Parish, Buffalo. N. Y., and at St. Mary's Town, Elk Co., Pa., diocese of Pittsburgh, Pa. 1843-1851; Rochester,
N. Y., 1852-1853; Baltimore, Md., in 1854; and from 1855 to 1868 in New
Orleans, La.
