Jakubiec, Rev. Joseph, Jr., O.M.C.
Born May 3, 1911, in Detroit, Mich.; son of Joseph and Agnes Jakubiec. Primary and secondary education completed in Detroit, Mich. Studied Philosophy and Theology at St. Hyacinth Seminary, Granby, Mass., 1927 1934. Ordained May 26, 1934 in Baltimore, Md. From 1934 to 1939 assistant at St. Stephen's parish, Shamokin, Pa., and at St. Bronislawa's parish, Chicago, Ill. In 1942 commissioned as chaplain in the U.S. Army.
