Janaczek, Amelia Kinga, nee Gruszka
Teacher. Born Oct. 25, 1908, Buffalo, N. Y.; daughter of Matthew and Stanislawa Gruszka. Primary education at St. Casimir's, Queen of Peace, and Queen of Most Holy Rosary, Buffalo, N. Y. Secondary education at Immaculate Mary Academy and at Sacred Heart Academy, 1927. Attended Canisius College, completing the course with B.S. degree. From 1931 to 1933 taught at Woodrow Wilson School Buffalo, N. Y. From 1933 to present time teacher at Sloan High School, teaching General Science and Chemistry. On Feb. 12, 1941, married Joseph J. Janaczek. Member of Sloan Teachers Ass'n; Federation of Polish Youth; Canisius Alumni; University Women; Queen of Peace Young Ladies Society; Queen of Peace Choir.
