Structural engineer. Born in South Bend, Ind., July 8, 1897. Son of Martin and Agnes Jankowski. Graduate of Notre Dame University, College of Engineering. Married Harriet Stachowiak, Nov. 7, 1921. Children: Raymond, Donald, Joan and Conrad. Structural engineer in charge of all construction work for the Smoger Co., Contractors and Engineers, So. Bend, Ind., 1917-1928. Chief engineer for Gerber & Haley Co., 1928-1929. Private practice, 1929 to date. Charter member American Society of Engineers: member Independent Engineering Society. Clubs: South Bend Society, Civic of St. Stanislaus Parish, Amer. Legion Post No. 357.
