Janowicz, Vic

A triple threat at Ohio State, his greatest season came in 1950 when he won All-American honors and the Heisman Trophy as the country's outstanding collegiate player. In addition to running as a halfback, he passed and kicked and played safety on defense. He played both professional baseball (Pittsburgh Pirates)and professional football (Washington Redskins) before a near-fatal auto accident ended his athletic career.
