Jarosz, Stephen
Geographer, lecturer and discoverer. Born in Poland. Professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 1935 discovered Pilsudski Lake, Kosciuszko Island, Alaska. In 1936-1937 lectured in U.S. In 1938 carried on topographical studies; collected botanical and geological specimens; took moving pictures of life on Kosciuszko Island, Alaska.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
