Roman Catholic priest, writer. Ordained to holy priesthood in 1912. First assignment as pastor of St. John Evangelist parish, Ubly, Mich. Organizer of St. Ludwig's parish, Detroit, Mich. of which he was a pastor for 9 years and 6 months. Resigned from the position as pastor in 1932 because of ill health. Travelled in Europe extensively, mostly touring in PoIand. Member: Tiberian Academy, Rome Italy; University Friends of Poland, Chicago, Ill.; Immaculate Conception of Mary Academy, Wilno, Poland; Polish Academy of Literature. Active in World War I in the recruiting of Polish Army in U.S. Since 1924 editor-in-chief of "Apostol" (Apostle), a monthly published by Marian Hill Mission Society in Detroit, Mich. At the invitation of Marian Hill Mission Society made a second trip to Poland where he preached at the Marian Hill Mission Congress. Present pastor of St. Joseph's parish, Pontiac, Mich. Author of over 18 brochures and books published in the Polish language. The best known are: "Msza dla Dzieci" (Mass for Children), "Godzina Adoracji" (Adoration Hour), "Eucharystyczna Godzina" (Eucharistic Hour), "Stacje Drogi Krzyzowej" (Stations of the Cross), "Trzy Godziny Konania" (Three Hours of Agony), "Znaczenia Miesiecy" (The Meaning of the Months), "Chrystus Krol Bolesci" (Christ, King of Pain), "Krolowo Meczennikow" (Queen of Martyrs), "Krolestwo Marji-Polska" (Poland-Kingdom of Mary), "Najslodsze Imie Maryja" (Sacred Name of Mary), "Korona z Gwiazd Dwunastu" (Crown of Twelve Stars), "Dzieci Marji" (Children of Mary) and many others.
