Jaworski, Helen Mary
Teacher. Daughter of Anthony Felix and Contance Frances (Blazejewski) Jaworski. Born July 27, 1908 in Thompsonville, Conn. Graduate of Enfold H.S., Thompsonville, 1925. Attended Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Mass., 1926-1929 and graduated with B.A. degree; received MA. degree from Boston University, Boston, Mass., 1936. Attended Summer session at Alliance College in 1938-1940. In 1933 given a scholarship by the Kosciuszko Foundation to attend a summer session course at the Warsaw University, Poland. Head of English Department at Enfield H.S., Thompsonville, Conn. Teacher of English Literature; member of Polish Women's Alliance of America. Polish National Alliance. Enfield's Speakers Club. Served on Evaluation Committee appointed by the Connecticut State Department of Education in 1940. Residence: 5 Alden Ave., Thompsonville, Conn.
