Jozwiakowska, Anna
Soloist, dramatist, stage artist. Born June 19, 1876, Chicago, Ill.; daughter of Julian and Catherine (Winski) Nering. Married Vincent Jozwiakowski. She was a member of Polish National Council (Wydzial Narodowy), during the World War I; vice-president of P.R.C.U.; director of Polish Alma Mater; member of "Polska Opieka Spoleczna" (Polish Welfare Ass'n), in Chicago, Ill. She played numerous roles on the Polish stage, appearing also as a soloist. Died July 23, 1932.
