Felician Order. Teacher. Superior. Provincial. Born Aug. 6, 1871 in Polonia, Wis. Daughter of Joseph and Victoria Strojk. Studied at Sacred Heart School, Polonia, Wis. Graduated from the Seminary of the Felician Sisters in 1893. Teacher from 1895-1900. Local superior from 1894-1908; assistant to mistress of Novices from 1911-1913. Provincial-superior in the Detroit Province from 1913-1920. In 1920 assistant to Mother General, Mary Bonaventure Stawska in Cracow, Poland, and commissary to the American Provinces. In 1932-1938 Provincial in Warsaw Province (Wawer), Poland. She opened the following schools in the Detroit Province: 1917, St. Stephen School, Detroit, Mich.; 1919, Immaculate Conception School, Detroit, Mich.; 1919, St. Stanislaus School, Jackson, Mich. While Provincial-superior in Warsaw Province, Poland, she organized the following nurseries: 1932. Day Nursery and Sewing School in Lodz; 1933, Day Nursery in Otwock; 1933,
Day Nursery in Karczew; 1934, Nursery and Clinic in Piatek. Returned to U.S. in 1938. Resides at the Motherhouse, Villa St. Felix, Plymouth, Mich.
